RECURRING CERTIFICATIONS

Recurring certifications are available to courses and forms marked as 'Certified'. When a course or form is recurring, the administrator can customize the period of time the certification is valid and when Members will be notified to start the recertification process. Dates are customizable and calculated using the Member’s last recorded completion date for that certification.

ENABLING THE RECURRING OPTION

You will find the recurring settings within the Course Settings section for setting up your course. Once you have selected the option to mark your course as Certified, you can set the recurring values.

Note: When the Certified option is disabled, recurring certifications will be defaulted to Off.

  1. Toggle the Certified option to ON
  2. Enter the number of days your certification is good for
  3. Enter the number of days the Member will be allowed to start the recertification process

Note: Even when not enabled, there will be grayed out example values in the above fields. If the Certified option is not toggled in the ON position, those values will be ignored.

Field Description
Certification is good for _______

This time period starts once a member completes/passes a form or course.
(Example: If a Member needs to certify bi-annually, you could enter 182 days.)

Start to Recertify after _______

Notifies the Member that they have a course that needs to be recertified by adding the course or form to their training queue.

Note: This number is the number days after the course or form was completed. The form or course will appear in the Training Queue during the recertification time period.

(Example: If a Member is allowed to start the recertification process 1 month prior to the certification renewal, you could enter 152 days. (30 days before the date in the example above)

DELETING OR UPDATING RECURRING CERTIFICATIONS

Updating or deleting the "Certification is good for" and "Start to Recertify after" data will change the dynamic due date.

Update: The Certifications tracking data will reflect the new recurring information.

Delete: Any Member who has previously been certified will still display certified.
